Pre-Calculus 12 or any Grade 12 level math

Description

This course covers limits, derivatives, integration, and applications such as related rates, slope fields, and logistic growth.

 

Students are expected to come with above-average algebraic skills which this course will further develop and refine. Students are also encouraged to use math software/tools to solve problems and visualize functions.

 

Course Topics/Modules

Module 1: Introductory algebra review, limits

Module 2: Derivatives and rules

Module 3: Derivatives of trigonometric and logarithmic functions

Module 4: Integration, Riemann sum, fundamental theorem of Calculus, and solids of revolution.

Assessment

18 Assignments: 40%

4 Module Exams: 60%
