Description

English 12 is a continuation of the prescribed learning outcomes from English 11; only the focus is more on higher level thinking and writing. This course encourages students to think outside of the box and to critically analyze the stories, poems, the novel and the play studied in the course. Students are also encouraged to explore their creative writing abilities as well. There is a midterm in this course which must be written at the VLN as well as a Provincial Exam which is worth 40% of the studentís final mark. Both the midterm and the Provincial Exam must be written.

Module 3- Poetry Analysis

MIDTERM- To be written at the VLN.

 

Module 4- Media Studies
