Description

English 9 provides students the knowledge and skill to use language in its full range of contexts and purposes through a variety of print and non-print media. The four modules the students will be working on will focus on Short Stories, Poetry, A Novel which is The Messenger and Shakespeare in which the students will study Romeo and Juliet. Students are encouraged to participate with their classmates in online discussions and make personal connections with the reading. Creative assignments are also offered in this course as well to allow for students to explore their writing and creative talents.
