Description

Social Studies 9 focuses on the history of Canada up to 1815. This includes the effect social order and industrialization in Europe and colonialism, imperialism, nationalism, and relationship between Aboriginal Canadians and European settlers in North America. Significant events such as the growth of fur trade, the geographic regions of North America and the development of individual and group identity are also studied.
